The Majic Jungle Screensaver Collection is a collection of 6 screensavers that use video from an iSight or other quicktime compatible camera to morph fluid, create fire, or otherwise interact in fun and highly visual ways.

Beta testing has just begun, and you are all welcome to participate. Have a look at http://majicjungle.com/under_development.html where there is a demo video and email address to register your interest to be involved.

Though I may not post much, this community always helps me out and in fact this post (http://www.idevgames.com/forum/showthread.php?p=128161) certainly helped me realise that such things were possible (thanks Holmes). So cheers!

Hey I thought you were postng a beta test.
I just woke up some maybe I'm missing something?

I saw this post last night and thought "well I don't run screen savers, haven't in years"...
but saw nobody reply to the thread and thought "Damn, somebody better post!"...dude that software looks kick ass fun!

Can you do a standalone app or iTunes Plugin.
Do you have 10.5 yet? I'm wondering if you'll be able to make
an iChat plugin for the next gen chat fun.

Yeah, I missed it too. Looks pretty neato reubert! It reminds me of the cool camera backround they have on the Xbox 360 dashboard (if you have the camera of course). Very modern!

Thanks guys

Actually that's a link to my announcement list, and I've already posted a beta test announcement to it! But that'll work for next time :) just email me if you want to test it: developer@majicjungle.com The only reason I'm not posting a direct link is that I don't want 1000 people downloading it and complaining that it won't start. So I'm just trying to mediate it a bit, though so far I have one person who has tested it, and they haven't given any feedback. Early days yet.

an iTunes plugin is certainly a possibility or perhaps a game... Pretty focused on just getting this out the door right now though.

Oh and the GMA950 is not supported (unfortunately but no APPLE_float_pixels... what can ya do) and you'll need at least an nvidea5200 or Radeon9700 or thereabouts.
