Team name:
Pet Wars Developers

Project name:
Pet Wars

Genre:
Physics Based Real Time Strategy

Brief description:
Utilize your environment. Soldiers aren't made in factories, and factories aren't made from gold.
In pet wars you have to recruit your troops from within the warzone, and assemble your defenses and weapons from the stuff you find nearby.
In the warzone animals wander about until you find them and persuade them to join your side. You have no defenses or weapons unless you venture out and collect some junk to use.
Build your fortresses from sticks, bins, tyres and whatever you can get your paws on. Set traps for your enemy, co-ordinate arial conker attacks, let loose rocks from catapults made from bricks and planks.
Pet wars delivers a fresh gameplay system for the RTS genre through Physics based Utilization of your environment.
Pet wars is like command and conquer with worms. Not in the sense that command and conquer's appetite has increased suspiciously, the intention is that it will be a game
that is fun, untamable and clever. When things go wrong it should be funny and frustrating at the same time, when things go right it should be down to clever, often creative utilisation of the environment, handling pressure, making use of a wildcard item or animal, sometimes good co-ordination, or devilishly good trap laying, not just learning the ins and outs of the units and items.
Target aim:
Retail

Compensation:
Percentage of revenue, possibility of fame (If it takes off like worms did)

Technology:
The game currently exists as an OGRE powered (multiplatform) lua scripted c++ application. Also using QuickGUI and OpenAL.

Team structure:
3 Programmers, 1 3D Artist, 1 2D Artist, 2 Musicians, 1 veteran producer.
