It seems as though many of them have been removed. Too bad.

My favorite will always be the one that went like this
Kid: I have a really great game idea then involves years of planning and more programming work then blizzard could understand
Me: Start small here are some great books on programming
Kid: Can you send me some books I will give you my mailing address
Me: My books are expensive and I use them all the time for reference material
Kid: I don't have any money though, I really want to make this amazing game but I can't do it if people don't help me for free.
I had to paraphrase and use proper english and the such but you get the idea.

Depending on your definition of proper english…
Your first statement should be: Start small. Here are some great books on programming.:p
Yes, I am feeling a bit picky today.:sneaky:

Hairball, seriously, kodex is like a grammar GENIUS compared to some of the posts we've had around here about mmorpg's.
BTW, it could also have been:
Start small; here are some great books on programming.
or:
Start small... Here are some great books on programming.
or:
Start small, here are some great books on programming:
or:
Start small -- here are some great books on programming:
etc.
etc.
No need to be picky if it's in the ballpark. The guy he was talking about was more like this:
strtsorz smALL h3r3 r sum gr8t b00k on pr0grrming hi likzorz xxxx i kool=aidz

No denying that. I blame no one for nothing. If you want to see an example of cluelessness, just take a look at some of my previous(& current) posts.

Hey I have never been a grammar nazi, I somehow made it through 4 years of college with only having to take one english course. You really have to love America's education system.I do ask that people at least make some kind of effort though.

Wow. That was weird. I had to sit there for a minute before I could decipher what he was saying.(Then I read your post).
Wow.

P.S Even if I was being serious with my previous post, as long as you're understandable, and can code like you apparently can, who cares? (In other words, don't pick on the smart guy):p
