I was wondering if any of you know of any good archives of planet textures. I found one provided by nasa that is pretty cool at
http://maps.jpl.nasa.gov/
All of the planet have at least one map listed and many of the maps are constructed from actual satelite images. The mars map in particular is great and based on satelite data. Some of the other planets however have photogramic artifacts and are not so good. Does anybody know of another sight that has good planet textures?

It seems that those textures are as good as it gets. If they look funky or have artifacts/edges in them, just blur or rubber stamp them out in photoshop (assuming you have that) For more variation, you can just adjust the hues (for a funky purple planet perhaps), also in photoshop.
