Hello I just thought that everyone who likes hooptie should try playing with a massive board because it is more fun and more difficult if you make good levels for MegaHooptie
Here is my Editor

The only problem is that I cannot get it to save proper hooptie bundle .hlvls so if anyone could get that working that would be brilliant.
Is there any chance that Hooptie2 will be made (2 Player mode, bigger board, more levels, etc...)

(by massive board i meant setting the number of squares the board has to much bigger number and so that the board is larger width than height)

Hooptie II will not happen before we are satisfied that the current Hooptie is done and done. Once we're through with the first, we'll think about whether we want to make a second.
Playing with a massive board sounds odd but interesting... since you seem to have done it, have you done checks on how it impacts game speed? By which I mean actually compared those frame-skip files. How d'you get mega levels anyways, did you make any big changes to the code or just used modified level files for that purpose?
Your editor seems to work nicely enough... a bit odd that there can be more than one hooptie placed on screen though and the pit tiles don't have neighbouring pits checks either. I make look into proper .hlvls when I have the opportunity; in the mean time you could look at the other editors floating around to see if they can help you fix this.

The .hlvls files are just directories but with .hlvls on the end of it. The mega hooptie game is slower but not much (even on my Blue and White G3).
I made the megaLevels with my editor (by changing kRowsNumber and kColumnsNumber)
I always thought hooptie would be fun multiplayer with two penguins.
ededed, jnikolai and I were working on a Hooptie level editor and got fairly far with it. We have saving and loading so if you would like to check the source out, email me (or post here).
