Day 1 -

The Quartz Extreme check placed in game controller is causing crashes or failed start-ups. I assume it requires Jaguar to work properly? I commented it out for now (for myself only).

Would it be more interesting to have the keys represented with images instead of strings in the keyboard config window?

I'd definitely like a mute everything option for when I don't want to hear a peep out of hooptie.

Also, if anyone has questions and comments about the code, might as well post em now while I'm looking at it.

That's probably correct, there should be a way to only call it on Jaguar systems, or alternatively you could just remove it.

Probably and it may not even be that hard to do, but I must say that I feel this is probably not one of the top issues with Hooptie. Personally I am far more concerned about improving gameplay, performance and sound in the game.

A whole rethink on the music and sound and the ways to mute the two might be a good idea. Feel free to tear up and rewrite the code in a way you feel is best.

I also wish to send a big thank you for taking the time to revive Hooptie.

Cheers,
Mark.

P.S. This site (http://www.partnersinrhyme.com/contents/contentssfx.html) claims to offer free, public domain sound effects though the few I've tested don't seem to be great.
