View Full Version : How should Pac-Man end?

Hey!
I'm working on Pac The Man 2. Obviously, it's a clone of Pac-Man (a really good one). The game is almost done, except for the ending. Do you guys, and girls, have any suggestions for the ending? Be as creative as you want!

PS. Miss Pac-Man is also in the game so... hum... romance is possible. :D

hahahahahahah, that reminds me of Camacho's Pac man sex game idea. :D Camcho, you went into some surprising detail when describing that game to us. :D

pacman will attain a velocity higher than the speed of light due to the adverse effects of continously eating dots on a lo-res screen, cause the universe to wrap around, and he will finally reach himself from behind and swallow himself, causing the universe to collapse and explode again in a big bang. Greetings to Stephen Hawking at this point. Ha!

Ethos?!?! I'm sorry DaFalcon, Ethos is dead! That's sad because the game was a real console-style RPG. Perhaps I can convince Sebastian Wegner (McSebi) to continue the project or do something similar.

Obviously once you reach level 256 the graphics on the screen should mess up causing the game to become unplayable.

Just curious, but does your dev team know that clones of that game easily "draws" the attention of lawyers? Or did you guys license the characters?

Anyhow, my advice is that there should be a "teaser" for the "next" game. So, first show joy happiness and then show something like a cliffhanger. Another idea is to put some easter egg at the end of the game, where the player becomes a ghost and must chase down Pac-man.

Nice logo.

There are so many Pac-Man clones available on the Internet... ;) we thought another one wouldn't hurt anyone. Besides, our clone is freeware.

Actually, there's a bonus in the game that changes the player into a ghost.

Yes, and if you recall the Hasbro case, one Mac dev of a Mac clone was also given a nice letter by a lawyer.

Cool. Why not have the whole game a twist? Make the game termites (ants) eating your food, etc and you needing to get them.

Remember it must stay true to its roots which are Berserk, Venture, Robotron, FoodFight. Sounds like a fun game and a bit like a Wooden Allen movie (when he made fun ones). I'm not so crazy about looking at a male's sex organ so I hope we can make it a simple thermometer type. (But I'll volunteer if the screen size is 1800 x 1600 pixels if nobody can be our model.)

Anyhow, we don't see many games like this at all at the shareware level. Anyone willing to give it a try? I'm sure you Metal or TNT programmers could BANG out such a game in a day or two.

Now that I have read it again I see it wasn't Pac-man, but similar.

It was Berzerk!!! I'm still hoping someone will make that game. :blush:
