Character design

Hello fellas...

Surely most of you know comic characters like the ones in "Funky Cops". Or maybe some Anime Characters. I'd like to design something like this.

I've seen some nice tutorials here and there on the web, but I wonder if someone of you knows a cool link that guides me to your favourite tutorials, message boards or at least screenshots (or mesh models, etc).
