mud games

Hi can anyone tell me a more recent game in a similar genre to MUDs that holds graphical elements that I could effectively compare and contrast between please?

Check out this: Game Neverending (http://www.gameneverending.com)

Last I checked it was in beta. I've never played it, though. It is supposed to be like a MUD.
