Derek Arndt (Barrage, Cube, derekarndt.com) just ported Black Shades to OS X and has it hosted here (http://www.thegamingmac.com/downloads/BlackShades.sit)
It runs a bit slower than on OS 9 but that is to be expected. The mouse sensitivity seems a bit lower also, but it is easy to compensate for that with the config settings.
Anyways, thanks Derek :)

Very nice, although I had to force quit (the quit failed; a black screen with the cursor and with the resolution unchanged, ie. still in 640x480Ö?)

:)
Anyways Sealfin the bug is probably when I dispose of sounds at the end, I'll see what I can do; I don't have the OS X source yet though so it might be hard to fix things though :/
Anyways I'll be back on monday and can try and do something about it :p

from the read me file:
100+50x points for completing a mission where x is the mission number (i.e. 450 points for completing mission 3)
shouldnt that be 250 points?
btw - I dont get the crash on quit that sealfin experienced - I can quit fine. Im using 10.2.4 on a G4/400 tower.

No, codemattic, that means 100 + (50 * level) :)

exactly. 100+(50*3) = 250, not 450 :p

Plah
Okay, it means (100 + 50) * level, dunno why he didn't say 150 * level. Or maybe he just did that to stump us ;)

I love being able to play BlackShades natively! Now my gaming time is split between Lugaru and BlackShades again :D

I can't get any of the commands to work in this game except for the mouse commands. Other than that, very nice.

Does it work if you restart?

Or even just log out and then in again, if it is the GetKeys() bug to which you refer, David...
