Iconfactory today announced its new service called StockIcons.com (http://www.stockicons.com) . Instead of going to design.iconfactory.com to get commercial-level icons custom-designed, you can go to StockIcons and get some very nice icon sets for use in your own programs. It may be pricey at $349, but if you need an interface and use multiple icons in your programs and get decent enough shareware fees, it'll all add up. If you haven't been to the IconFactory, check the place out. They've got professional-quality freeware icons for our personal use and it's definitely worth looking at if you want an idea on how good StockIcons will be.

Yeah totally.
I foresaw the day coming when game assets would be for sale. But icons? ICons that another developer may also pick up and use for look alike applications (assuming both developers have the same crack dealer to inspire such a purchase)

I don't forsee this being a big hit.
They offer this new service with only 3 icon sets to choose from. Wow, variety.

Where can I get what they are smoking?
