Hi,
So far I've been working on a 3-D asteroids game for about 2 1/2 years now. I've finally finished my final and 3rd rewritting of the code, so please feel free to suggest any new ideas. Also I'd like to thank all the people on the idevgames forum that have helped me with this game in one way or another (which is almost everyone ;) ).

Cool game. Bouncing was fun. Although I really think there should be shoot, hit, thrust, explode (for the asterroids/rocks/whatever) sounds.

Geocities doesn't let you link from other sites. You have to go to the page to run the download.

Please make the walls straight rather than slanted. It's disorienting when you hit one and you don't bounce back when you think you should.

Also, make it more space-like. Grassy fields don't have zero gravity.

Strange. When I download and unstuff, everything's there except the main application :?:

Ok I think I've got all of the bugs covered now. Here it goes:

Zachary-
Try downloading from the site now. I've changed the file to a .tgz
Also I've fixed a few other bugs in the actual game.

diordna-
I've made the grass shading darker, hopefully that will help make the walls more visible. Taking all of the slope out of the walls probably wouldn't look too nice; although, I will compromise and make the slope half of what it is now if you would like. My game really isn't supposed to be that realistic it's more of an OpenGL demo or something I guess. Also the planet you flying on has very low gravity, so that's why everything floats. I still can't explain the bouncing though:D.

A.J. Infinity-
Yes, I haven't gotten to the sounds yet. I really would like to finish the menus and a map builder before I start looking for a sound designer.

-Another thing I forgot to metion about the game is that once you destroy all of the rocks the cool OS X system sound "Submarine" plays.

Thanks this has really helped me to work hard on my game again,
Iceman

Nope, still nothing. I'm using Stuffit Expander 7.0.1 and Mac OS 9.0.4.

Ah so it wasn't Stuffit after all. You need Mac OS 10.1 or later to play the game. Sorry, I'll add the system requirements for the game on the site.

Thanks,
