Hello
Hope you can help

For a school project my son (age 10) is making a video, in the video the characters are always playing games (what else)
So for background sounds we were hoping to use some of the resources like
http://www.idevgames.com/html/resources/resources.php3

All the ones that are appropriate are in .sit format
(OK now I admit we're working with Adobe Premiere on an PC)
so I downloaded and installed Stuffit. Rebooted the machine,
and Stuffit shows the folders of the sound sit files - but all extractions attempted give 0 byte long files.
(It successfully expands the readme files with the licensing agreement...)

We have 2 days left for this project -
open to all suggestions on how to get some royalty free, for educational use, arcade like sounds readable on a PC

Many Thanks
Irene

I also recommend you check out our link section. If I recall, there was a royalty-free website with sounds. But I think searching in Google for "WAV" format sounds and ROYALTY-FREE will get you many pages. By the way, the sounds that have a "idg license" can only be utilized for Macintosh game projects.

Good luck,
