Hello,
Our newest game, Pop the Wheezilô, is in the later stages of beta testing. We could use a few more testers, so if you would like to test it, please contact me at beta@stinware.com. Please include info about your system when emailing, and if your lucky enough to have Panther (or any other cool thing about your system) you get bonus points (i.e. we would really like it if you would beta test it).
Pop the Wheezil is a colorful game for one or two players where the object of the game is aligning balloons of the same color as they float to the top, grabbing as many points, and progressing through as many levels. It is Carbonized and will play on any Carbon capable OS. More info at the website (http://www.groundzerosw.com/wheezil).
Thanks.

Just to clarify a few things.
You can do as much testing as you want on the game. Run it once, or play it all day. What we really need is to get a feel for how it runs on different systems. Just give it a try and tell us what you think.
I've decide to give out the link to download the game on the forum, instead of having people email me for it. It seems to scare people off. :)
Please send all responses to the email provided on the beta testers website. Here is the link (it has been removed)
I may remove the link at any time, as we see fit.
And one more thing, some free registrations will be given out, as stated on the website.

I have decided to remove the beta link, since there seems to be no interest in the game. If there is still anyone out there who would like to give feedback, feel free to email me at the above address.
I don't want the link just floating around. And there is no need for it to be up there if no one is trying the game out.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't have pulled it after only 12 hours being the morning when most of us are sleeping, in school, or at work

Actually it was almost 48 hrs. But I'll take your advice and post the link again.

Just give the game a try. We don't really need "serious" testers. It's just try it out and give us some feedback. Feel free to post your replies on the forum, although the email on the beta website would be better.
If anyone is interested...

I'll give it a try when I get home tonight. I'll give you a thorough run through of it.

Sorry, I wanted to take a look a bit earlier but I've been busy. It sometimes takes a few days to find time to do things, y'know! ;)
I'm rubbish at this kind of game, but I picked it up fairly quickly once I found the built-in help, and I had quite a lot of fun playing it. Good stuff. I love the illustrations in the titles and menus - I wish you had used them behind the playing area too, a different picture for each level or something.
Anyway, I didn't find any bugs as such, only the usual RezLib thing of messing all my windows up when I quit. Everything else worked perfectly. For the record, my Mac is a G4 DP450MHz with 896Mb of RAM and a Radeon 8500, running Mac OS X 10.2.8.

Yeah, I guess I was impatient. (but in my defense it's been a year in the making, and I can't wait to release it.;))
Anyway, thanks for giving the game a try. If you like it you might want to email your results to the beta email on the beta website. Since that email goes to the publisher also, and you might get a free registration that way. And from the looks of it, most people who test it will get one of the free registrations.
Yeah, those pictures are nice. I would of used them in the game when playing, for background, but it seemed to slow down the game. (yeah, I know that the background doesn't need to be updated very often, maybe it was my imagination that it was slow)

so far nice download speed
I'd prefer more lower pitch music. That being said, I'm grateful You allowed me to turn it down.
I would make the UI (black brackets) go over the image instead of under
love the picture of the weasel on the main page. Very well done.
I'd like a way to move multiple times without having to press the key more than once.
On kiddie mode, I was beaten by my adversary many times. Maybe I just suck.
Perhaps antialised graphics? Some graphics looked a bit jaggie when they more probably should have been smooth

I am not a fan of tetris-like games - so Im really the wrong person to comment on the gameplay.
However - I *love* the 2d artwork - especially the weezil! And the whole game has a very professional and well-polished feel to it. I didnt have any crashes or slowdowns on my G4/400.
I do wish that when registering I could copy and paste in the serial number - instead of having to write it down on a slip of paper - and then type it in again at the reg screen. But this is a small matter.
Really professional job - good luck with your release.
cheers,
Codemattic

Thanks for all the input. I'm glad to see no bugs were found. Again, if you want a chance at a free registration please email your responses to the beta email found on the beta website.
I would like to see if it works on Panther, so if anyone has it (or are getting it soon) please try it out.
Thanks again.
