Hello!
Since I have announced few months ago a project, I believe it is time for me to look for a programmer! (see thread http://www.idevgames.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5357).
The title is yet to be decided but I can tell a little more about it. It will be a 2D pirate-fantasy adventure game. The storyline is about a malediction that affect an old pirate family and the latest young man have to recover a special object to bannish the malediction. it should be a platform scrolling game.
The positive points at this moment :
- Original design level (no magma level :lol: )
- mix of action/puzzle
- A real story that make involve severals characteres
- No violent option, I mean the heroe will not use weapon (he he he, sorry I cannot tell you why yet :) !
My effort until nowhave been used to work on the scenario and design.
What I need :
A programmer
- is able to make 2D or why not 2.5D cross platform scrolling game, for PC also if it is possible
- Have a good sens of humor and ready to share ideas
About money, it is something that could be decided in private (read the Thread belong)
About myself, I am a professionnal illustrator working essentially with photoshop since 4 years now (educational books, covers for french Mac pres magazine, web design also), I leave in Espoo, near of Helsinki (finland- Europe), I am french. My favorite games are , "9,the last Resort", Myst 3, Monkey Island serial ;-), Abe's odyssee, Legend of Kyrandia.
For people you are interesting, I can send some art works of this project.
