I need help this year in finding sponsors. For those who will attend the Developer's Conference, you can be of great help. Get names, emails, titles, and if possible, tell them a bit about uDevGames.
For the rest of you, please seek out suitable sponsors. Please don't just say product name. To be helpful, I need:
Company Name:
Product Name:
URL:
Contact Person Name:
Contact Person Title:
Contact Person Email: (write it so spambots can't read it)
If Matt or Rocco come along this thread, you might still have the contact information from last year's sponsors. Please forward that to me as all that information was lost in my hard drive crash.
Last point. In the past, members have said, "How about Adobe?" The thing is, unless you KNOW a specific contact person at such a large company, it is almost hopeless. So if you are going to suggest a sponsor, do your best to do some research on exactly who it is I have to talk to.
Getting the site backup is a lot of work, and help from the community is vital this year if we are to have uDevGames 2004. I know everyone wants to have it, and I am sure a few of you would still join even without prizes, but I think it is important to keep uDevGames Contest moving forward and upwards.
I'm looking forward to getting your lists of sponsors, especially since you all might know of companys that I haven't approached in the past.
Cheers,
(p.s. And if anyone was about to ask... We will start in August as we always do!)
