Firstly, I must say that your website is very nice indeed - some very good graphics and layout.
The screen shots of the game also look good.
It should be noted though that this is a mainly Apple Mac website and as such not everyone will be able to actually play the game, although after seeing your website you may be getting some people enquiring about graphical work.

I tried to be nice and polite about this, but there is always one :(
Due to the 'Your text or slogan can go here', there is no clear sign on the site if you come directly into the forum that this a Mac only games development site.
Even going through the front page, the only sign is the barely readable red on red text saying Mac games start here.
Why cannot people look at the positive side of a Windows game site being posted?

Because we're all Mac fanatics. DIE WINDOWS USERS DIE ;)
Ok, no really, it's not a big deal. There's nothing to designate it as a Mac site right now as you pointed out and it's not like it's hurting us to have more people... Good luck with your game, UglyDuck. Port it to the Mac and we'll check it out! ;)

There is an increased number of people discussing cross platform development these days (I'm working on such a game myself right now). Shutting ourselves into a world where Windows does not exist is not very bright. Follow Apple's example.

I have said it before I'll say it again, until windows developers care about the mac platform, I'll continue to not care about windows. Yes yes, I know there are a VERY FEW out there, but I've been burned too many times.
SO, I would not like to see anymore first post people advertising PC games on MY (this is my game developing home) site. It feels spammish and it just isn't useful at all. Now if they post the code AND has non 800% directx code, that is fine. But them advertising their PC game on here is just completely unwarranted and unuseful to us as a community.

I totally agree with that. My previous comment was supposed to be dripping with sarcasm ;)
I have gone so far as to adopt cross-platform technologies for many of my never-finished games ;)

make the windows version of the software cost twice as much as the mac version?

Follow Apple's example.
No. Their example is straight out of Monty Python's Holy Grail.... "We taunt them to death" like the French.

My comment about following Apple's example was a reference to Rendezvous that they have just announced for Windows.
And as far as I can remember, I did not have to pay twice as much for iTunes for my PC as I paid for my iLife 03 and iLife 04 ;)
I think the way to attract Windows developers to consider the Mac is to be polite and civil to them and not start shouting at them as soon as they mistakingly post to this site. The negative response from certain people on here is just very rude.

Helen,
Its no problem you posting here. Sometimes members get too touchy IMO. I think it comes from being on a minority platform - we get too defensive too quickly. We should use the opportunity to get a developer to consider developing cross platform. Also a Mac dev may want to hire you for music or sounds - even if you work on a different platform. Consider for your next killer game to use OpenGL (which is very cross platform) instead of DirectX (which is only Windows and now Xbox), and other libraries like SDL, SDL_mixer, FMOD, OpenAL, etc... which are cross platform and make porting easy - why throw away *any* potential sales? We'd love to see your games on our Macs.
Good luck with your audio studio - and with MegaBomber (which you have spelled MEGABOOMBER with two 'O's on your web site - http://www.wonderspecie.com/erp1megabomber.html - MegaBoomber would be a good name too actually.)
cheers,

to codemattic:
Your idea about "boomber" is really great I will discuss it with my colleagues!!!
And I am really meditate on developnig games for MACS.... the first problem is that i've seen MAC twice in my life.
First on TV screen, second at Internet site:)))) no it's just joke.... really I've even touch it...... may be once... ^)))
so I really coudn't estimate efforts and marketing strategy for Mac games.
Could you give me a good advice about may be Internet resource when I may find information about game marketing&sales for MAC?
During meditation one bright idea came across my mind... Is someome interested in cooperation with company to port game to Mac.... We have gameplay, 3D characters and enviroment? Or this idea seems crasy???

You could ask about marketing and sales from porting houses like Aspyr. (http://www.aspyr.com)

I'm sure you could find someone willing to do a port, but you'd need to be more specific about what you used to make it (for example, if you used OpenGL you'd have a lot more takers here than if you had used DirectX...)

I wasnt talking about 'Boomber' necessarily - Im talking about your *next* game. Taking a game that was already developed only for one platform and then trying to get it to work on another can be hell. But if at the start of your project one of the design goals is to use cross-platform libraries and programming whenever possible it doesnt add a lot of extra work for you.
If you dont have access to a Mac - maybe start by developing for both Windows and Linux?
I wish I could help people port their games - but Im struggling to finish my own projects!
