GLUT preferences menu

Sorry if this has been answered before. I couldn't find it. :rolleyes:

Is there anyway to get rid of the 'Preferences' menu that produces a popup window, automaticallt created by GLUT when you create a new window? It's ugly!

Using c++ by the way.
