or any thing else you can think of that has "Public Domain (sound something)"

Google will turn up a lot, but most free sounds you'll find are either illegal rips and/or just plain crappy. I keep a short list of links to some of the better free audio samples I've come across over the years if yer interested (here (http://developer.chaoticbox.com/resources.php)).
