Well, here it is my final words.
I'm looking for a small job while I wait for some programming stuff.
(got no ideas)
I will be working on a game soon but I'm waiting for somebody to help me with my website so I don't have anything to do.
last time I stopped programming I came back and had to relearn how to do some OpenGL stuff so I don't want to stop.

I'll only do Interface and game stuff.
hasta be small (couple days to a couple weeks).
and can only be stuff in graphics, Carbon, or OpenGL.
I don't really have a resume but I do have two games under my arms.
(I was rewriting my last game "Shards" but have trouble with some blending so...)

I have MASSIVE experience in Interface design.
but only use Carbon API (so if you need a Carbon cool guy I'm the man)

because it suppost to be small I only am going to use MPW as my compiler.
(and you don't have to pay me)

I won't work with a hard dead-line because I have had some family issues lately so...

REMEMBER: small I wont be working on the next Halo. :D

I decided that I'm not going to do my next game...
so...
I'll be free to do anything.
So forget the small work stuff.
I will be free to do large projects if necessary.

One free programmer........

If you are free, then please make a Centipede clone, and then give us the source code. :D

Cool,
do you want it along the lines of a game like Aperion or retro (you know with just lines)
or like the original. HUh hUH HuH hUh

If it's like Aperion then it's going to take a long time to do. but if it's like retro or the original (or both at the same time) then I wouldn't need somebody to do the sound (I can do 3D graphics very well)

or, just a thought, would you like a 3D version (like glTron) that would be my first game in 3D texturing but I could more than likely do it.

Anyway I would need a sound person to do my sound if I did one like Aperion.

(What is Aperion???)
Aperion was created by Ambrosia before they released there hit games like Escape Velocity, EVO, and EVN.

And I have no problem giving my source code away.

(WHOA I've never used this smily  )

Retro is fine. I can give you the sounds. Use coder art for the sprites and I will get you the sprites later as well.

:D

While you are writing your game, I would like to see you start a dev diary, and document the steps you took in making the game. Perhaps we can turn it into a tutorial when you are done.

You can use Carbon, or Cocoa. It doesn't matter to me. Also, you can also use third party stuff like SDL, or SpriteWorld, etc.

I programmed on Mac os 9 untill just recently I got Jaguar then I found a website that had a Mac game contest and in three hours later I couldn't register so I decided to enter the contest before it ended (www.udevgames.com) so it was very hard to learn anything like SDL... and Cocoa I couldn't test till just a little while ago (so I don't know anything except Carbon (... or classic...:sneaky:))

Retro is fine.
I will get you the sprites later
uh, I thought retro was just lines. (OH, you mean the retro graphics as lines (Right?:???:))

Use coder art
I guess, this is MY art (ten second art, correct?)

OK, cool.

Retro as in "classic gaming", but no, not really vector style. Something like 32x32 size sprites.

As I said, if you want to do it in Carbon, then no problem.

If you make it in Cocoa, call it "Cocoapede" ;)

Like I said I don't know Cocoa :)

but... I do need a name.

(Connecto'killer)
(TearFighter)
those are my favorite so far.

Well I'm going to do it in OpenGL.

I need a few things (not right now) sound is a problem because my mic is busted,
I don't know what shape everything is going to be so I'll have to mess with that in my
3D modeler. I do REALLY bad with retro sprites (I better at 64x64, with 3D art on them)

And I still don't have a web host
(I'm waiting on the webmaster to add me in)

I'm going to start a dev-diary once I pick my compiler. (you know if you spell that wrong it comes out to dev-dairy )

and will keep a constant update on the game. :)

Here it is: http://www.idevgames.com/forum/showthread.php?p=75751

Here are somes names...

Nanopede (as in nano machines ;) )
Gigapede (Kind of like a Japanese monster movie)

and a name from a game I made back in the days of 8-bit computing "Insecta"
