Recenly a large portion of my time has been devoted to writing the free, open source SDL-based software rendering library SRT:

I recently ran into an invisible roadblock which prevents the Mac OS port from working properly. Rather than just making another half-effort fix and keeping its old, clunky way of incoporating it into an XCode project, I need someone interested in creating a .framework of SRT 3 (with its existing build process) for Mac OS X and contributing the necessary changes back to the primary tree; and hopefully also to fix the mysterious invisible rendering bug. I can send the most up-to-date code to those willing to try.
