Usually with the job ads they just post contact details and never come back to the board.
I'd recommend contacting them directly with any of your questions.
Most job ads for development jobs are just as vague, especially if it is agencies, as they do not want the competition to know what they are after / up to.

not until we know whether you want *censored* *censored* mac programmers!!!
I think it's kinda suspicious that someone who recruits for game companies still has a hotmail account. Seems like they would have some other mail service, perhaps their own domain.

Predictable as ever I see :p
Remember three very important things:
Cross platform developers visit and are members of this site.
Developers looking for work can use their knowledge and skills on many platforms even if they only have worked on Macs. A decent developer can pick up a language and API they have not used and get to grips with it very easily.
Doing your hobby for a living takes the fun out of it. Working all day on Macs makes you enjoy them less.

Granted I'm not paid to program so it's technically not work, but all I use is my Mac and I enjoy it just as much, if not more, than the day I got it. Perhaps if I was spending 8+ hours a day on it, but I still think I'd like it.

I do my job (porting archaic languages (fortran) to new languages) on a mac... and I would kill myself (and others) if I had to do it on a PCs

Legitimate offer or not, if someone thinks that iDG forums are worth posting job offers into, then why look a gift horse in the mouth? It just means that iDG is getting decent exposure.
We are all interested in both Macs and game development here, but the exact ratio differs from person to person. And let's not forget the example set by the FutureCop team lead, who was contracted to do a console and PC version of FutureCop and insisted on including a Mac version on the same CD. So why not give someone who appreciates Macs an opportunity in the PC or console game industry?
The main question should be whether its a good job opportunity or not.
