Hi;
I'm the author of this game
http://www.realtech-vr.com/nogravity/
I'm looking for people who can test it on MacOSX.
It is known to work on a Powerbook G4 / MacOSX 10.3.8.
The source code is available to download (it's GPL). and XCode project is available too.
Just waiting for feedback of any problems of any sort.
Cheers;
Starts up fine, but I can't even configure the controls properly. I don't quite see how the buttons are assigned, the buttons I press seem to be assigned to the wrong controls.

Same problem, You should REALLY consider combining the installers or having the main app download the data files on first launch.

Yes the installer is a big problem (especially on MacOSX).
Actually i'm trying to have a good working version so I can create an single installer (like the one used for Linux (loki installer). So people could download the full package version once, and take the update.
Also need to find some web space in order to put the full package. (actually it is hosted on SF.net) and a full package is 33 MB size.
I don't know how works the other 'open source' game project for that issue.
For the keyboard configuration: It's working like this : select the action, press key. But maybe there is something different on the OSX version, I will double check that.
Things actually to be done for the Mac version are:
- Handling multiple mouse buttons (this will come in the next update).
- Fixing problems with resolution >1024x768
- Fixing compatibility issues (if there are some).

That's what I thought how it would work, but it doesn't.

You need to click with the mouse and then press the key. And it will work fine.
Selecting with the keyboard (ie enter) doesn't work well

There is also this bug
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1180256&group_id=131322&atid=721312
A non-reproductible bug with the sound mixer (using CoreAudio).
There is a OpenAL and SDL mixer but OpenAL is only on MacOS 10.4 and I couldn't find a distribution for SDL Mixer for MacOSX .

I will check that, to see what's happening.
Else i've placed a new version. It using OpenAL instead of CoreAudio (fixing the crash issues) and also has a smoother playback and 3D sound.
You need to install OpenAL or have MacOS 10.4 (if someone can check that it works with it).

OpenAL is working correctly for me. 10.3.8 with Libs installed. Atleast i think its working i dont have the best speakers here. As far as gameplay and such its pretty smooth, good framerates on a Dual 1.8 G5. Leading with Lasers dosnt make much sense to me since they travel at very near the speed of light but I guess you have an established PeeCee version like that so there is no reason to play with the gameplay now.
So in conculsion everything looks good expect the key config menu.

There is a small clipping audio bug, it will fix that as soon I fix the keyboard menu.
Can you explain in detail what's happening exactly.
For example, I go to keyboard, point the mouse on 'roll left', then mouse click, the the cursor freezes, i press . and the new key is assigned to . as wanted.
What happening exactly on yours ?
Yes, the laser are more 'plasma blast' than real lasers (like sound explosions in space ;) ;)
