"Otherside" is a puzzle-platformer, currently in development by a group of 6 students from the Vancouver Film School. We've been developing this game for about 3 months now. After one week in full production, we are now ready to publicly release our first pre-alpha release. We will greatly appreciate any fellow game developers testing our game; it'll only take 5 minutes. In its current state the game is very buggy and it's got no end state. We're hoping that the gameplay elements implemented thus far are enough to convey the essence of fun in our game.

This is a social dice game.

Yatzymate is the third game I created for the iPhone / iPad, but
it's the first game that is turn based. It uses Game Center's new turn-based feature.
Yatzymate is a game similar to Yahtzee/Yatzy, you can play with your friends around the world.
Would you rather play against a random player, the IOS's Game Center will find a randomly chosen player.
There can be up to 4 players in each game, and you can have 16 games going at once.

Yatzymate have multiple leaderboards, and many achievements.
There is a leaderboard that takes care of the high score, a leaderboard that takes care of the number of times
you have won, and a final leaderboard that takes care of the number of times you've given up. There, you will not
want be highly ranked.

The game is free, so I hope you will download it. Doing so you are guaranteed lots of fun.

Once you have tested it so please write us here at the forum if there are things you miss, or if
you simply like the game.

Hi,

I just would like to share our game with the community, what we developed, what we used.

This game is a new style, called wall defense:



The player has to defend th powerplant against the invading robots by turning walls on and off.
Quite exciting.

We used Sparrow engine to do the job, with one programmer, an animator, and a designer who drew the content. It was about 400 hours per person to finish the project, plus a lot of testing, submission, and much more.
