You can do anything and everything in it. Wink

This is in Obj-C. It's a tiny bit of Cocos2d (just dealing with the tilemap loading/rendering so I wouldn't have to) and a big chunk of my own code that's part of a tutorial series I've been writing for iDevGames at a glacial pace.

Sweet. Thanks man! Smile

Is that tutorial not up yet? I'd like to see it!

Oh! Is that something that you would put source-code out for? Just curious to see some examples still Rasp I am getting a little restless with my basics-book, not using Cocoa and all!

Thanks.

Heh heh, ok then. Sad

I hate to continue to make this thread even more off-topic, but do you have any examples or can point me in the right direction for some Mac Objective-C games source code for some 'hands-on'? Googling isn't giving me anything! Right now I am learning the basics, but am going to move on to Cocoa next, and I'm afraid the book I'm going to use is not going to talk about games very much...

http://www.71squared.com/en/product/923/tutorials has a lot of tutorials, and he has a pretty decent book out as well.

Heh heh, those are iOS, I'm looking for Mac-specific. Wacko But, from what I hear, it translates. Thanks!

This is an odd amalgamation of various projects so I am far from saying "this is how to do it" but maybe you'll find something from it. Smile

Thanks. I have been getting a little bored with the basics, so am taking a small break to work with Cocoa!
