Composer of unique orchestral, electronic, and ambient music - IanFisherComposer - Feb 11, 2015 01:29 PM

Hi folks,

First of all, here's a link to my portfolio: https://soundcloud.com/ian-fisher-composer/sets/demo-reel-tracks

My name is Ian, and I am a full time multi-genre composer (and occasional sound designer). I've worked on several different video games and apps so far, and I'm looking for some new projects to sink my teeth into.

I specialise in creating music which is heavily tied to the setting, plot, gameplay, and overall style/tone of the game in question. I think a good game soundtrack should feel like an extension of the world it sets out to describe, and so I like to work closely with developers and immerse myself in any material connected to the game whenever possible.

I write music in a large variety of styles, although when left to my own devices I tend towards unusual textural soundscapes or electronic/orchestral hybrids. I'm also currently experimenting with some more traditional medieval/fantasy music, thanks to a collection of sampled medieval/renaissance instruments I purchased recently. I love a challenge, so feel free to suggest a style not mentioned here or showcased in my demo reel.

For my credits list, testonomials, a selection of free (creative commons) tracks, and other examples of my work, check out my website at http://ianfishercomposer.com/

I'm aware that indie budgets aren't huge, so whilst I don't work for free, I will make an effort to price myself within budget. Drop me a message here or at ian@ianfishercomposer.com if you're interested in working together.

Thanks!
