Hi, I am currently developing a fairly simple 2D game for the iPhone and iPod touch. I have been developing it solely with the frameworks and tools provided in the iPhone Development SDK from Apple's Developer Site.

Problem is I would like to develop this game using a game engine such as iTorque or Unity. I don't have the money for either and the whole reason I am developing this game is to make money.

I know about cocos2D, but I was wondering if there was anything else anyone has used and had a good experience with in the past for iPhone development. I just really know there is a simpler and better way I could be developing my game without all the heartache of making all my algorithms and maths from scratch.

If only...
