.obj files? What are those?

To write a full OBJ loader you have to deal with bezier patches and things, but I've never seen a program actually export anything other than polygonal faces, so I've never bothered to load the other weird parts of OBJ.

Just loading polygonal faces, OBJ is definitely the easiest 3D model format to parse.

I didn't know OBJ could hold any of those things. I thought polygonal faces was everything they held. I wonder if any programs actually can export control vertices or anything.
