I've decided to continue with METAL Basic, because TNT Basic didn't work at all and after moments of thinking, METAL seems quite good: it's examples gave me a strong effect from what it can do (and it can do much), although it's made by two men. I only have some difficulties finding proper tutorials to it, since most examples are pieces of code from which you are supposed to learn everything it has to offer without any sort of guidance (except for a few lines that the programmer has added to the program code to explain what the lines do). For what other Basic-program tutorials I should seek (for example the examples in TNT Basic don't work in METAL), or should I try to find METAL only-based tutorials?

Your best shot is to go to the METAL forum and ask for tutorials. We have two which will be posted when I get a chance.

Camacho, where should I look for your metal tutorial, so that I won't miss it?

I've started to make some progress with METAL's help menu and with my experiments and it seems that I'll settle with METAL for good. The commands are quite understandable and easy to learn. Now I only have to look for codes and tutorials so that I get to understand more.

From my experience, you won't find one site with only METAL tutorials. Except for us someday. What you should do is follow their forum, look at the links (home pages) of the people who post. Many times they post code snippets right in the forum. Hang out here and there and you should start picking things us.

My start hasn't been so succesful. I'm having difficulties with several commands that a person I know suggested that I should learn. But how can I learn, because I can't even see what's happening? Also, I haven't found any good source codes, since they tend to be a little bit too difficult and complicated. They are more for those who have already studied METAL for a longer time Please Camacho, publish your tutorial quickly .

But I won't quit. I just need more guidance with these things.

The links above would help me a lot, if only I'd be more experienced. But I've already posted many messages to http://www.glacial.com.

If only I could get those damn tutorials and not only source code...
