For 480x960 resolution would you ditch SDL1.3?
Hi Everyone. I know SDL 1.3 is still in its infancy as far as iPhone is concerned but I'm beginning to question whether to ditch it altogether as far as graphics are concerned. I chose SDL because I'm porting an app that used SDL primarily for audio. I want a landscape display - that is proving to be a nightmare - and on trying to get that to work, I'm now under the impression that SDL only supports 320x480 resolution and not 640x960?
Have any of you experienced this too? What would be the best thing to do - ditch SDL for graphics and go down the Apple OpenGLES route?
I just wanted to keep my Windows, Mac and iPhone app source as cross-platform as possible. This is why I chose SDL but is this really a reality at the moment or just a dream?
