Create Aquaria-like terrain- texturing edges
I came across a nice detailed answer on a way to create borders for terrain in your next game. It uses screenshots from Aquaria as an example.
This is right in time for uDevGames, and I know a lot of people are using Chipmunk generated terrain... they just need a way to make it look good!

I should do a writeup on how we did the terrain for zombie race: http://files.slembcke.net/temp/Splatter.mov
Basically it generated eight sets of extruded fins that it blended together based on the normal of the terrain. It looked really really nice, and allowed for nice transitions between floor, wall and ceiling areas.
