Aspyr On Porting Mac Games To Intel
In a recent article posted at Apple’s developer site, Glenda Adams of Aspyr discusses that company’s experience in recompiling its games as Intel-compatible universal binaries. The article outlines Aspyr’s process for selecting which games to port, and it describes a few of the pitfalls the company encountered when working with GCC 4.0 and porting code from PowerPC to Intel.
