OpenGL-based 3D engine GLOBE_3D Updated



A update to GLOBE_3D has been released, introducing collision detection and improved tools for translating id Tech 4 (DOOM 3, Quake 4, etc.) maps. GLOBE_3D is a free, open-source (MIT licence), cross-platform OpenGL-based 3D engine for Ada; whilst it only includes pre-compiled demos for Windows and Linux, it is stated that GLOBE_3D should work on any platform which supports OpenGL and GLU, and that it has been successfully compiled for Mac OS X (64bit PowerPC.)
