BugThug
BugThug is the first game I have completed since nine years ago. In that time frame I had gotten very close to completing a game for Mac OS 9, but got caught up in the transition to Mac OS X and had a lot of dead technologies with which I was very familiar. Fast forward to 2004, and I was working on my uDevGames 2003 entry privately. Seeing the entries so far, and reading the rules for this year’s uDevGames, I decided I should enter in the hopes of providing a simple SpriteWorld demo for people to learn from. I dropped what I was doing in the game I was working on before and during the first half of the contest, and dove right into BugThug. In hindsight, it was a very good decision for me.
